1. Agreement and parties
This End-User License Agreement (“EULA”, “License”) is a binding agreement between you (“you”, “the Licensee”) and EditsPack, operated from Tbilisi, Georgia (“EditsPack”, “we”, “us”). It governs the digital asset package called EditsPack Signature — “The Ultimate Edits Pack” — delivered as a single .drfx installer file containing exactly 1,000 hand-crafted DaVinci Resolve items: shakes, transitions and effects (together, “the Pack”; each individual asset, an “Item”).
By paying for the Pack, downloading it, installing it or using any Item, you accept this EULA. If you accept on behalf of a company or team, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity — but note that one purchase licenses one user; see section 7. The Pack is licensed, not sold.
2. Definitions
- “The Pack” — the EditsPack Signature .drfx file and every Item inside it, in original or modified form.
- “Item” — any individual shake, transition, effect, macro, composition, preset, setting or other asset contained in the Pack.
- “Raw asset files” — the .drfx package itself and any extracted .setting, .lua, .comp, .macro, image or data files from it.
- “Your Project” — a video or multimedia work that you create in which Items are used as editing components, typically combined with your own footage, audio and creative decisions.
- “Account” — your EditsPack account, identified by your Google email address, through which the Pack is delivered.
3. License grant
Subject to payment of the one-time $10.00 USD license fee and to this EULA, EditsPack grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, perpetual license to install and use the Pack, effective for as long as you comply with this EULA. One purchase grants exactly one license, tied to one EditsPack account.
The license is personal to you as the single identified user. It is not transferable, assignable or sublicensable — you may not give, lend, rent, resell or share the Pack, or transfer your license, to another person or entity without our prior written consent. The license is perpetual: it does not expire, and there are no recurring fees, provided you comply with this EULA.
4. What you may do (permitted use)
The intended use is video editing, and we keep it broad for legitimate creators. You may:
- Use the Items in an unlimited number of personal projects.
- Use the Items in an unlimited number of commercial projects: YouTube and other monetized channels, client work, films, series, commercials, music videos, corporate and event videos, online courses, social media content and advertisements.
- Sell or license Your Projects that contain Items, and monetize them on any platform, without paying us royalties and without crediting EditsPack (credit is appreciated, never required).
- Modify Items to fit Your Projects — recolor, retune, retime, mask, combine and adapt them as your editing requires.
- Install the Pack on your own devices (your desktop and laptop, for example), provided you are the only person using the license.
- Keep using the version(s) you downloaded even if a newer version is later released.
5. Projects made with the Pack (project-file clause)
This is the clause that protects your freedom as a creator: only the raw asset files are restricted — the videos you make are yours.
Videos, films and other works produced using the Items (Your Projects) may be distributed, broadcast, published, sold, licensed and monetized freely, on any platform, worldwide, forever, with no royalty, fee or credit owed to EditsPack. You may also distribute your own DaVinci Resolve project files to clients or collaborators where necessary for the production itself (for example delivering a Resolve project to a client’s editor), as long as the Pack itself has been lawfully licensed by the person who needs to render with it and the raw asset files are not being used as a way to hand over the Pack. What you may never do is make the raw asset files themselves available to others — that is section 6.
6. Hard restrictions (what you may never do)
The license fee is $10.00 only because the Pack is not stolen from us. The following are prohibited absolutely, and each is a material breach of this EULA:
- No resale: you may not sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise transfer the Pack or any raw asset file, whether for money, for other goods, or for free.
- No redistribution: you may not upload, post, publish, seed, leak or share the .drfx file or any extracted contents — in whole, in part, re-packaged, renamed or modified — to file hosts, Discord servers or channels, Telegram channels, cloud drives, marketplaces, torrents, MEGA/Nitroflare-style hosts, “free download” or “free crack” sites, GitHub repositories, or any other public or private distribution channel.
- No bundling: you may not include the Pack or any raw asset file inside another product, template pack, bundle, course, subscription, app, plugin suite, or freebie offered to anyone else, whether sold or given away.
- No claim of authorship: you may not present the Pack, or any substantial part of it, as your own creation, remove or alter copyright or attribution notices inside the files, or register the Items or the Pack with any marketplace, stock service or copyright registry.
- No competing product: you may not use the Pack or its Items to create, train, reverse-engineer for the purpose of building, or market a competing template, effects, transitions, shake or asset-pack product for DaVinci Resolve or any other editor.
- No extraction for redistribution: extracting Items from the .drfx file does not take them outside this EULA — the restrictions above apply equally to extracted files.
- No unlawful or harmful use: you may not use the Items in content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or that promotes hatred, violence or illegal activity, in a way that would put the Items or EditsPack in disrepute.
7. Teams, studios and multi-user use
One license, one user. If more than one editor will install or use the Pack — a second editor at your studio, a teammate, a family member, a client’s in-house editor — each of them needs their own license and their own account. Bulk or team licensing is not sold separately at this price point; the honest path is one $10 purchase per seat. A client who only receives Your Projects and never opens the Pack does not need a license.
8. Audit evidence: download logging
You acknowledge that EditsPack logs each gated download against your account — including the file name, byte count, IP address, user-agent and timestamp — and enforces a daily download limit of 3 to 5 downloads per 24 hours per account. These records are the audit evidence of a genuine, personal license and may be used to investigate and prove violations of this EULA, including identifying accounts tied to leaked copies of the Pack. We describe this logging openly in our Privacy Policy; we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
9. Enforcement, termination and refunds on violation
If you breach this EULA — especially any provision of section 6 — your license terminates automatically and immediately, without notice from us. On termination you must delete every copy of the Pack and every raw asset file in your possession, cease using all Items, and remove them from any template, project or product you have distributed.
Termination for breach carries no refund: a terminated account loses access to the Pack, to downloads and to any updates, and the license fee is forfeited. We further reserve the right to ban the associated account and email address under our Terms of Service, to issue DMCA takedown notices and copyright strikes against distribution channels, to pursue monetary damages and injunctive relief, and to report piracy to relevant platforms and, where appropriate, to authorities. Distributing the Pack is copyright infringement as well as a breach of contract — it is treated as both.
10. Updates
We may, at our sole discretion, release updates to the Pack — new Items, fixes or improvements — and make them available to licensed accounts at no additional charge. Updates are a courtesy, not an obligation: they are not promised, not scheduled, not guaranteed, and may be discontinued at any time. Each future update, if delivered, is part of the Pack and falls under this same EULA. You are not entitled to any particular number of updates, and we are not obligated to maintain compatibility with future versions of DaVinci Resolve, though that remains our intention.
11. Third-party software
The Pack is built for DaVinci Resolve, which is developed and owned by Blackmagic Design Pty Ltd. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Blackmagic Design. Your use of DaVinci Resolve — free or Studio — is governed by Blackmagic Design’s own license, and any compatibility issue arising from Resolve versions, settings or hardware is a Resolve matter, not a defect in the Pack. EditsPack claims no ownership of, and grants no license to, DaVinci Resolve itself.
12. Ownership
The Pack and all Items are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of EditsPack, protected by copyright and other laws and treaties. All rights not expressly granted in this EULA are reserved. This EULA gives you a limited license to use the Pack; it transfers no ownership, no source rights, and no rights to extract, adapt for redistribution or commercially exploit the raw asset files outside the uses expressly permitted in section 4.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The Pack is provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults, and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment and non-infringement. We do not warrant that every Item will suit every project, that settings will look identical on every system, or that third-party software updates will never require an adjustment.
Nothing in this EULA excludes statutory consumer rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where statutory warranties do apply and cannot be excluded, our liability for their breach is limited, to the extent the law allows, to re-supply of the Pack or the license fee paid.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EditsPack and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost footage, lost project files, lost revenue, business interruption or creative opportunity costs, arising from or related to the Pack or this EULA, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total and aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Pack or this EULA shall not exceed the license fee you actually paid — that is, ten U.S. dollars ($10.00 USD). This cap does not apply where the law does not allow it, including liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
15. Term
This EULA takes effect when you accept it at purchase (or first use the Pack) and remains in force perpetually, for the life of copyright, unless terminated earlier under section 9 for breach. You may terminate it yourself at any time by deleting all copies of the Pack in your possession; termination does not entitle you to a refund except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17 survive termination.
16. Copyright and DMCA notice
The Pack is copyrighted work. If you believe copies of it are being distributed or sold by a third party — a marketplace listing, a Discord or Telegram channel, a torrent, a “free download” page — report it to tfiruvtr@gmail.com with the link. Where possible, we will issue DMCA takedown notices, platform copyright strikes and hosting-provider complaints, and we will pursue repeat infringers. Piracy reports from real customers are genuinely appreciated: the $10 price stays possible only while the Pack is not being stolen at scale.
17. Governing law and contact
This EULA is governed by the laws of Georgia (the country), without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are resolved as set out in sections 17 and 18 of our Terms of Service — informal resolution first, then the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia — with all non-waivable consumer rights of your country of residence preserved. If any provision of this EULA is unenforceable, it will be narrowed or severed and the rest will remain in force. This EULA is the entire agreement regarding your license to the Pack.
